Fawn Lily Ballet
Fawn lilies grace the woodlands and forests of the Pacific Northwest. The unobtrusive nature of these small and humble wild flowers captured Lesley Friedmann's imagination during one of her hikes in Mount Douglas Park in her hometown, Victoria. Rather than ignore their quiet presence, Lesley Friedmann gave them great prominence in Fawn Lily Ballet. Here they stand boldly as if to say: "look at how beautifully we dance under your feet!"
